No issues other than it was busy so it took about 90 minutes to get through. The actual inspection and questions was about 7-10 minutes. It also took about 30 minutes for us to find each other in the airport. |

My fiancé traveled by himself. His POE was JFK. He said the CBP was very helpful and so happened to be Dominican. He asked him when he was getting married and told him he had 90 days to get married. He also asked him if he had a connecting flight and explained how to get to his terminal. Overall my fiancé said it took about 10 minutes to get through Customs. |

I was in line for the passport check for an hour. When it was finally my turn, the officer asked me what the purpose of my trip was. After I said immigration, she took my passport and put it in a box and locked it.
I was told to head over to some officers, who led me into a hallway and told me to follow the red line on the floor all the way to the end.
At the end, there was another desk where they took out my passport and told me to sit and wait for my name to be called.
I had to wait for about half an hour before they called me up. They asked me what my address is going to be, and what the best way to contact me is. After this I was allowed to leave.
All in all, it wasn't difficult, just took a long time. |

Asked me no questions relating to my K1 visa, he put my details into a computer and very carefully input my A Number into my passport then let me go. He also informed me my packet of information I brought goes to storage. POE was EXTREMELY busy and that might have had something to do with it. |
