The airport staff were very nice and patient. My fiance had no trouble, the security and so on were just very slow. His plane landed at 2:35pm and he did not walk out of the terminal until after 5:30pm.
Found out later, when we applied for his SSN, that his status was not entered correctly into the SS databases, he was put into the computers as being on an F-1 visa, not a K-1. We were told that we will still get his SSN and card, it will just take a little longer, that's all. |

just a little delay on the immigration area because a person before me is having a problem with his fingerprints..it's different from what's on the record..but as for me..everything went smoothly... |

Flight arrived 1 hour before the actual arrival time...!!! Airport Staff was not ready for upcoming visitors.. and only 2 officer there and there were near by 40 non-immigrants.. and they asked nothing more then his occupation in his home country.. and with in 45 minutes I have my passport with I94 and EAD stemp on back of it, and wishing him with a smiling face- "Best of luck" |

It went very smooth because I was there and helped out my fiance (he doesn't really speak English). We got held a little longer because there was a guy in front of us that wouldn't listen to the officer to sit still and so they had to deal with him and then helped us. Other than that it was great and fast. Well they could found the employment authorization form so they just stapled white card to the passport and wrote the Auth Nuber on the back and officer said that we can use that as work authorization :) |
