Almost 2 hours for Immigration and CBP at JFK. Received EAD stamp without asking for it. |

Initial officer was inexperienced with processing K1-Visa entrants, colleague was called in for assistance. Eventually I had to go through the documents to find the exact papers they needed. They were very courteous throughout the process. NY was our POE for the sole purpose of the EAD stamp and we got it without even asking !! |

My husband was out to see me only half hour after he arrived. The lines were short and the officer that took his envelope only asked him about the address that he would be staying. The only reason it took half hour is because there was some confusion with the luggage. Some passengers' luggage was left behind.
My husband mentioned that the person that took his fingerprints was arguing with another coworker about someone else. Not the most professional experience, but he said at one point it was funny. But, we don't care about that because he wasn't hassled or harassed. He is here. :-) |
