Erynn & David CDN-USA Border 2009-03-12 - High After my interview at the consulate they gave me a manila envelope.....which was taped and said "DO NOT OPEN". If you open it you will have to start the process all over again. I left from the Montreal airport to enter the U.S. When you go through customs they ask you all the normal information: reason for entering; tell them you are using your K-1 Fiancee Visa for entry. They verify your information on your passport, take your finger prints; then the Officer takes you, along with your passport, and manila envelope to Immigration. In the Immigration office, I just had to sit and wait until my name was called. I also had to fill out the I-94 Card in which they staple inside your passport. The Immigration officer asked me a few questions and that was it! It was honestly nothing to worry about; they didn't even check my bags! 2009-10-03
