Arrived at Pearson 2.5 hours early to allow myself enough time. Huge line at customs. When I finally got to the front of the line I advised the CBP agent that I was entering on a K1 visa. He took my fingerprints, asked me if I had the folder. I gave it to him and he put it in a yellow folder and directed me to secondary. I gave the folder to the desk and was advised to take a seat and wait for my name to be called. The waiting room was full and there is no privacy. I heard someone get denied entry for a previous arrest for possession of narcotics. Must have been embarrassing since everyone else can hear too. Once I got called up she did some paperwork and reiterated that I need to get married in 90 days. Asked if I had any dependents, I advised I didn't. She put a stamp on the visa page of my passport where the K1 Visa was and sent me on my way. As soon as I got to my gate we were boarding the plane. PHEW. I'd advise to arrive 3-4 hrs early to be on the safe side... |

Very friendly and professional. We were the only ones being processed at the time. Took maximum of 15 minutes. |
