stef & steve Newark 2013-10-16 Yes - High PoE went smoothly. I was taken into a side room at immigration where they did something with my passport out of my line of sight. He asked me "so when are u getting married?" I said "next Sunday" he said "Good luck" 2014-03-07
Collnin4412 nin & coll Los Angeles 2013-10-16 No Yes - High Did Biometric, and the officer just told me we need to get married in 90 days. 2014-02-19
Hasan & Mallory Chicago 2013-10-16 No No - High Hasan has entered the US twice in the last 9 months (once when he arrived on his K1 visa and again when he traveled to Turkey on Advance Parole). Both times he was pulled into a separate room for interrogation. Not really sure why, but he said they were mildly aggressive both times, making accusations and questioning the validity of our marriage. I did not travel to Turkey with him because it was for a family emergency (not to mention we don't have an extra $900 to spend on another plane ticket) and the officer thought that was reason for concern. He had all the proper documentation he needed and was clear in the system. UPDATE 6/21/16: He has traveled to Turkey twice since that time and both times he had no issues reentering; no separate interrogation required. Guess it gets better with time (and a green card). 2018-06-26

H_and_k K & H JFK 2013-10-15 Yes - High Immigration officer was courteous and humorous. Everything was simple and quick, took all but 5 minutes. (What we didn't know and weren't asked about was the payment of the immigration fee to get the actual green card produced. We found out later when nothing arrived in the projected time and called USCIS. SSN was also not produced automatically as requested and offered on form and we had to visit the social security office in person to get things on the way. Both cards have since arrived.) 2014-02-03
