He said that overall there was disorganization but low harassment and things eventually got done. There was no sign that said "immigrants here" so he got in the wrong line but through observation, found out where he needed to be. He put his do not envelope on a desk and waited for the POE officer. He waited for about half an hour. The officer arrived. Hubby said the officer must have been new because he kept looking around and asking his co-workers (clarification) questions. Hubby said that the officer didn't really look at the papers. He said, okay, you are free to go. Hubby missed his connecting flight.	2014-04-02

Roberto & Nicole	Houston	2014-03-31			- High	-Arrived in Houston @ 11:15. -Took 45 minutes @ first point in customs -US officer asked Roberto to wait; Another officer came and took him to another office with a lot of people. The officer also took his entire K-1 sealed packet. He turned the packet into the people in that office. There were approximately 50 other travelers in the room. The person began organizing packets. Roberto waited for about 35 minutes. Once the packets were organized about 10-12 travelers were taken to another room. Packets were distributed to other officers in the next room. This took another 15 minutes. -They opened up the sealed packet and checked all of his documents. They reviewed the K-1 requirements with Roberto. He stamped the deadline on his visa. The officer asked Roberto if he had any questions. -Roberto had about 25 minutes to pick up his luggage, go through security, and arrive the correct gate (int'l to nat'l). His next flight was at 1:17. He arrived to the gate at 1:10. He ran thinking he was going to miss his connecting flight. The flight was delayed and he THANKFULLY did not miss it. -We recommend that you allow more time in between your POE and your connecting flight.	2020-07-26
