Quimolum s & g Philadelphia 2015-01-01 Yes,Passport Stamp Yes - High We waited 45 minutes in the waiting room. I was glad we had several hours layover and not only 1h50 like most of the airlines were offering. One can never be sure when the next available flight will be if you miss the first one as airlines tend to overbook more and more. 2017-09-09

Betty & Marco Atlanta 2014-12-31 No No - High My POE was in Atlanta, GA. They have specific rows for non u.s. citizens and I went to the visa row. The officer was really nice and I first had to go through the "normal" procedures like giving fingerprints and taking a pic. I was already laying this big envelope I got from the u.s.embassy on the counter. So he started asking me questions like where I am coming from, if I have something in luggage like fruits, vegetables, alcohol or tabacco. Then he asked me what the purpose of my journey is and I said "I want to get married". After that he was sending me to another officer. I guess he was not familiar with the upcoming paper work. So I got transferred to another row. I was waiting a while, while the officer was typing stuff in his computer. He disappeared and consulted another officer...After a while he came back and I was allowed to come to the counter. He just asked me if I'm comfortable with English and started explaining to me why it took so long. The I-129 form was expired and he wasn't sure if this matters or not but the other officer and some other research said it's okay since my medical and the actual visa are still valid. After that he was giving me some information like the visa is only valid for the actual entry and it expires after that and I should not leave the country until my AOS is completely done. He was really nice and meanwhile another officer showed up and we we had a pretty good conversation. They asked me stuff like how we met and if we did all this with a lawyer or all ourselves...Then they welcomed me to america and good luck. Even with the waiting it didn't take longer than 20 minutes. 2019-02-06
