Very smooth. I went through the "visitors" line and the officer took my passport and my sealed envelope, checked my fingerprints and took a picture of me. He asked who was my peitioner and after my answer he returned my passport and the sealed envelope. He also gave me an extra folder and told me to go to the next room. There they took everything again and started to type all my information in their system. They took my fingerprint and signature for the GC and told me that it will be delivered within 2 months. They stamped my passport and welcomed me to America! |

We didn't know at the time, but luckily the DHL guys was helpful. We were only allowed to have one POE, which was through one bridge between El Paso and Juarez. So, if you wait in Juarez, be sure to check what your POE is. |

super easy... however when the stamped my stamp they didn't give me the full 90 days. When i went into ssn to change name they based if off the stamp even though it CLEARLY states on my passport that it expires months later... so just make sure the stamp matches the expiry on ur k1. |

The Honolulu entry was a breeze. There was a few minute delay waiting for an officer to help us. One came over and took the paperwork and entered information in the system. The second "supervisor" that completed the process just asked a few questions and reminded us of the 90 day requirement to marry. Overall it took maybe 15 or 20 minutes including waiting for someone to help us. No headaches whatsoever. |
