It took around 1 1/2 hours to go through CBP in Houston. The officers were rude. They asked a battery of questions very similar to the one's at the Embassy ie. how did you met your wife, what type of work do you do, where does your wife live, what country do you come from. |

This went fairly smoothly, was taken into secondary processing where I sat for about thirty minutes or so (you cannot use your phone in here) and then was sent on my way! |

Very smooth. I went through the "visitors" line and the officer took my passport and my sealed envelope, checked my fingerprints and took a picture of me. He asked who was my peitioner and after my answer he returned my passport and the sealed envelope. He also gave me an extra folder and told me to go to the next room. There they took everything again and started to type all my information in their system. They took my fingerprint and signature for the GC and told me that it will be delivered within 2 months. They stamped my passport and welcomed me to America! |

We didn't know at the time, but luckily the DHL guys was helpful. We were only allowed to have one POE, which was through one bridge between El Paso and Juarez. So, if you wait in Juarez, be sure to check what your POE is. |
