Arrived with my fiancé on a one way ticket . We both queued up with my on the non American lane . The same Immigration officer attended to both of us in a timely and professional manner. Reminded us about the 90 days in which we have to get married . Welcome to America. Next stop AOS |

The Immigration database was down for 45 minutes after we got in line, but we planned a 3 hour layover "just in case." Once the database was working again the Immigration agent interviewed Karl for about 10 minutes, going through our paperwork and asking a few simple questions. He was friendly, and told Karl "Welcome home," and told me, the US citizen, "Welcome back."
Just a note, the agents were NOT friendly to those who didn't have their paperwork in order, especially after a 45 minute outage of the Immigration system. Be prepared! |
