My POE experience at JFK couldn't have been better. Had to queue for about 40 - 50 minutes, but when I did get to the front, the immigration officer I saw was lovely - very jokey and friendly, gave me a 'welcome to America' AND a Hershey's Kiss ('this'll be the last time you get a kiss from another guy'). Spent about two minutes in 'secondary' while another guy did something with my papers, then I was free to go. Oh, and I got the temp EAD stamp on the back of my I-94. Here's hoping I get to make use of it! |

Husband(then fiance) was given the wrong form on the plane. At JFK, he was directed to another line where a lady filled out the I-94 form. She entered an incomplete last name, entered middle name as first name. This became a problem at the Social security office. We had to go to the nearest intl airport to have it corrected, then went back to the SS office. All is well now. |
