The Customs officer was friendly, asked me basic questions, stamped my passport/visa, and sent me to secondary inspection. Secondary Inspection was a long wait, but again the customs officers were friendly. I took a seat, and was helped within 45 mins. Customs took my package to review, searched my bags, asked me questions like: when I was getting married, how long have we known each other, what my fiance's profession was, and what I wanted to pursue as a career once everything went through. Then the customs officer showed me the way to the gates, and wished me luck. |

Crossed by car 1500 miles from Salt Lake City. CBP Officer asked why my fiance wasn't with me. I answered (puzzledly) "Because she's in Salt Lake City...?". He snapped "What does that mean to me!?". Took about an hour and a half for him to go through the whole file. |
