PAGAMOS PACKET III AND IV PROCESS STARTED AT NVC
I-864 Tubimos que mandarlo por segunda ves un error en el numero de household, me conte yo mismo dos veces. La nueva forma fue enviada el 12/03/2009
El dia de la cita en la embajada los dos decidimos no llevar el registro civil original de Amparo porque ella se cambio y se elmino su appellido y sumo el mio mas el ´de´ Llevamos fue el registro hecho despues que el nombre se cambio. Este documento y el passporte de Diego fueron las unicas evidencias que preguntaron en la embajada. Salimos corriendo para el hotel en taxi le dijimos que nos espere y despues regresar a la embajada, se nos presento un problemita, no podemos entrar a la embajada necesitabamos un permiso y no lo pedimos. con la hoja que nos dieron la forma 221G dice que ahi que comprar un pin or utilizar una tarjeta de credito. Tomamos un taxi y nos llevo hasta el COLPATRIA del centro de Bogota, compramos el pin solo que no , en es activado hasta las 24 horas, solo esperamos 12 horas y mientras sacamos un nuevo PASADO JUDICIAL, asi que al medio dia Amparo trato y funciono, nos dieron dos fechas el Lunes or el proximo Viernes, escogimos el Lunes para no tener que hacer otro viaje a Bogota. Ese dia no nos hisieron ninguna pregunta solo pasar al area 40 despues a la ventana 29, entregar el registro civil original de Amparo despues nos llamaron a la ventana 1 las palabras su visa ya estaba aprovada por favor page en Domesa Gracias Señor por hacer de tu volutad nuestro projecto una realidad.
Siguiendo con el proceso 01/19/12, enviamos la forma I-751 con el dinero via money order, la compramos en el correo. El correo fue mandado certificado. eL Lunes 30 de Enero recivimos la extension por un año y las instrucciones de espera por la cita para las huellas digitales. Gracias Señor por todas tus Bendiciones

POE at Dallas Fort Worth was very simple and friendly. It was 6am, they had just opened and I was the only immigrant visa beign processed at that time. Did biometrics, waiting a few in a room, received my passport with my entry date written, showed at a desk and done. The officers made me feel welcome, and I appreciated that!
After that, the custums was very smooth too, when asked how long I would stay, I said I was K-1 and he let me pass instantly. When I went as turist I had to go to luggage inspection, and it is no big deal if you go to it, just need to open your luggage and the officer will inspect. |

Went very smoothly. We arrived early in the morning (~6 AM). Passport control placed my wife's information in a green envelope and instructed us to enter an office to the right of the baggage claim. Went there, sat for about 45 minutes as one consular officer processed about four people before us. Afterwards, he asked us no questions, simply filled out the paperwork, confirmed our US address, took my wife's fingerprints, let us know the green card was coming, and wished us well. Very positive (if somewhat slow, due to the backlog) experience. |

The trip went smoothly, the interview was short. He only asked my fiance one question and that is what are you here for? One of them didn't know what a k-1 visa was, that was awkward. However, everything went smooth alhamdulilah |
