Diana & Casper JFK 2010-07-02 Yes,Passport Stamp Yes - High Amazingly easy and straight forward. Went through the non-USC line. The officer opened the visa packet and did what he needed to do. It took a little longer because, curiously, he said they get very few K-1 visas throught JFK and he hadn't seen one himself in several months! Most of the time we were waiting was for him to remind himself what he needed to do. After the immigration officer finished his part he walked us to the main office where we waited about 20 minutes. Most of that time was spent by the next officer looking for the appropriate, but missing stamp! All together it wasn't one hour total, no pain, no problems, no hassles. 2012-02-26

Ying & Zhou Newark 2010-06-30 Yes,Passport Stamp Yes - High We went to the non-resident queue at EWR passport control. I explained that my wife was immigrating to the man. He stamped our passports and asked for her package, less her x-rays. He asked me why it was so large and I just shrugged. (it was heavily front loaded from day one) He told me to get our luggage and wait for my wife downstairs and told her to accompany him to an office. About 45 minutes later lao po appeared with no wounds, scars or bruises and our new adventure began. On a previous arrival I asked an immigration officer about their procedure and what to expect. He assured me that at EWR it was a smooth process and they don't harass. 2012-12-19
Lucas & Emma Miami 2010-06-30 Yes,Passport Stamp Yes - High My husband said they were so nice, explained everything to him in English and in Spanish. No harassment whatsoever, very good experience. (Husband received Social Security Card 07/13!) 2013-04-28
Melanie & Joemel San Francisco 2010-06-30 No Yes - High 2013-06-21
Ronald & Carla CDN-USA Border 2010-06-30 No Yes - High Blue Water Bridge was very busy in Port Huron today! My fiance' waited 30 minutes to be able to even talk with a guard about doing his paperwork, then it took an hour for the officer to process the paperwork for the K-1 and import my fiance's car (which wasn't paid off and still had a loan on it in Canada). Excellent entry but long wait because of the closeness to the July 1 Canada Day holiday and July 4 Independence Day holiday. 2014-08-25
