Got a stamp on my immigrant visa. Although my immigrant visa was valid for 6 months but as I got a stamp on POE, my visa becomes valid for 1 year. |

Overall the process was pretty simple. First officer was polite and helped him to the interview room. He was asked a few questions and then approved within 30 minutes of arriving. The only bad thing to say was that an officer not helping him made a rather insulting comment. She asked him, "How much is she charging you?" And after my fiance's disbelief she clarified that she was asking how much I was charging him to get married. He replied that no one was being charged any money to which she replied, "Oh, so you're actually in love then?" What a horrible thing to say to someone! |
