Left US the first time due to death in the family, never got to apply for Residency. Stayed in Australia 2 years, USC husband came also, then I entered second time and was paroled into the USA for overstaying VISA waiver the first time, wouldn't have been an issue if I had been able to submit the documents previously. Questioned at LAX for 4 hours due to my reasons coming to the USA, it was to attend a wedding originally with intent to return to Australia. Was granted parole and whilst staying here my husband and I decided to seek an immigration attorney's advice as to whether I could apply successfully as we changed our minds and wanted to stay.	2012-12-11
