Immigration officer stated the K-1 Visa holder can use the I-94 to apply for SS card, driver's license and can work. I was surprised that he said she can work, so, I verified this looking at document RM 00203.500 Employment Authorization for Nonimmigrants, Section C. A K-1 Visa holder can work without specific DHS authorization. |
