Got to immigration and the man took the envelope, ripped it open, stamped a few documents, stamped passport, explained that any further correspondence with immigration should be directed to the USCIS with alien #. Did not take the xray--didn't even look at it. All in all, a very fast and painless experience! |

Everything went really smooth: also the queue at the border control was fast. I was directed to one of the lanes close to the office. The officer has been friendly and polite: he asked me if we setted the wedding day, how I met my loved one, which was my job in Italy, then he walked me to the office to obtain the employment authorization on my I-94. Inside the office there was some people but I had to wait only almost half an hour, so I can say i had no harrasment at all. |
