Natalia & Eric Washington DC 2009-12-16 No Yes - High To begin, I was there to pick up Natalia from her flight at IAD airport on December 16, 2009. I arrived early well before her 5pm arrival but they kept her for another 2 whole hours at customs! They were rude and kept sending her back and forth to the windows and all over the place. I was waiting for her plane to come in and it did...and the time went by. No Natalia. So I walked over to a customs officer, flowers in hand but since he was just getting off his shift he just shrugged off all my questions when I asked about my "missing fiancee." Natalia appeared later (much later, after I was in a state of extreme anxiety and panic) and explained that the customs officers were giving her "the evil eye" and didn't believe her story of a fiance waiting for her at the airport. (Despite the fact that all her documents, medical papers and her USA entry visa was in order) To put a cherry on top of the whole experience at the airport terminal they ripped into the side of Natalia's luggage and tore it beyond repair. What a "wonderful" start of a life's journey. A terrible example of a welcoming committee for others coming to this USA port of entry. Steer well clear of this POE if you want your loved ones to be treated fairly and to remain hassle-free. 2011-06-13

Ileana & Pablo Memphis 2009-12-17 Yes,Passport Stamp Yes - High Everything went very smooth. Nice people, no harrasment at all. Interview lasted some 5 minutes, the usual questions asked: when and how did we meet, how long have we been together, what is my new address. Right after that they handed me the passport with the stamp and welcomed me to the US. 2012-09-18

Always Blessed Odean & Julianne Fort Lauderdale 2009-12-17 No No - High I remember it as it was yesterday, My husband /finace at the time arrived at FLL and was in the Immagration holding for about 5 hours. Question after question was asked almost as if he was being asked all the question again that the Ebassy asked to approve him. Anyway after thinking they were going to send him back home finally he came through. 2012-05-07
