We had to wait for more than an hour after being sent to the great "aluminum" room. Many people went ahead of us. The guards asked a lot of questions about my husband's motives for immigrating to Canada (many years ago) and about his visits to Pakistan, but in the end were very nice and told him "Welcome to the United States!" |

I went through the Citizens/Residents line at customs, not the Visitors line, as I was afraid I would miss my connecting flight. No problems with that. |
