Intimidation and generally hostile. Not a nice way to welcome a person to the country. But she got through it as she had all the paperwork. Did take an extra half hour compared to her accompanying father and brother here on VWP. |

Very rude guy but didn't ask many questions. He started freaking out about where the medical exam was when it was right there in front of him in the yellow evelope. |

Crossed in Blaine at the Peace Arch. From the time we rolled up to the crossing until we were through took less than 30 minutes. This was probably the easiest part of the whole process so far. They didn't check the contents of our rental truck, didn't look at the inventory of everything we brought with us, and didn't look at our 2 cats. All in all a good experience. |

The interview took about 30 minutes, during which time the officer said that if I tried to live in the US illegally without going through with the marriage, he would 'hunt me down and kill' me! All in good humour but still.... He asked lots of questions including why I was leaving it so long between entering the US and getting married. I also asked if I could get a work permit - he said I couldn't. |

They have changed the procedure a bit from what people have written before. The Immigration offficer at the residents line stamps and writes something on the customs form. He then sends you to pick up your luggage and you the proceed to an Immigration officer at the customs section. All friendly and relatively quick. |
