Entered at pre clearance at Trudeau Int'l Airport Montreal. Took just over an hour to process the paperwork with much to-ing and fro-ing between the officers who I would have thought being in Mtl would have seen a K-1 visa before! Was sat in the waiting area of secondary and an hour later the officer came out and warned me about working (don't) and leaving the US (also don't) and was reminded to marry within 90 days and sent on our way. |

She spent over 2 hours with immigration. The guy must have been new and had no idea what a K-1 visa was. It was a nightmare for her. Eventually a russian rep from the airlines asked her if it was her bags that were sitting over there. That was the big help. |

well the only harrasment was i had to wait for 4 hours till they stamped my passport and said welcome to america.
no questions at all just how long since you are married so they can stamp the cr1 or ir1. |

Seemed to me that the Customs person was more interested in trying to out do his buddy next to him in giving people a hard time and trying to trip them up. Found him to be very rude and did not appreciate him passing his judgement on our marriage prospects. |
