After reading reviews we wanted to use Houston. First thing first, we landed in Houston at 5:24am. My fiancée followed me through the line for US Citizen check in for Passport control. Then he asked me who she was and I told her and he asked her politely to step up. Asked a few questions, city of destination, type of Visa and if she knew the number of days before it expired. He was very kind. Then he called over another officer to escort us both away. When we got to the interview center, which is to the right of Passport Control lines, he told me to walk straight ahead and wait to the right UPSTAIRS. My fiancée entered the room. The had her passport already but then asked for the envelope that came with her VISA. After reviewing that, she was taken into a room and asked 1 question about address where we would be living in the US. He wished her the best and she was allowed to leave the interview center the same way she went in unaccompanied. It was literally 5 minutes from entry to interview room to exit. We went downstairs together to retrieve our checked luggage together and took it to the connecting flight baggage drop off, together! Everyone with CBP was kind and extremely professional. HIGHLY recommend Houston as the POE. |

Dublin POE is extremely busy. Took around 30-45 minutes to get to the front of queue. By the time my emigration was processed, I had to dash to connecting flight to USA. Give more than 2 hours between turnover if connecting. |

Upon arrival at TPA,I stood in the visitors line. Immigration officer asked where I was going, as she opened my passport and ended up opening the page with the visa. She asked if it was the first time I was entering using the visa which I replied yes. She asked if I had any food, and I informed her of the food I had. She asked if I had any alcohol or fresh plant based food/meat,which I did not. She then took me to secondary area and gave my passport to another IO. He called me to the counter 5 mins later, asked I confirm the address for the greencard to be posted. He also explained that with the stamp in the passport I can apply for a job,SSN etc and expect the physical greencard in 2 months. |

Had a connected flight from San Francisco to Ontario. Beneficiary was treated extremely well and everyone was very helpful. She even missed her connecting flight but they guided her on what to do at no cost. We advise to arrive in Ontario instead of LAX. It's much smoother and less crowded. |
