The waiting time was exceptionally long (2 Hour Total time in the entire customs process from plane to exit); Because of the volume of people, there was a long joint line, which split later into visitors and citizens/residents; Then the visitors line split into those with packets (like him) and those without. The 'packets' line was shorter but required more time per person.
The customs agent was nice and spoke of his Caribbean travels. He asked my partner one question: On what day are you getting married? Easy process. |

POE was mostly seamless, except for the officer who would not speak to or answer fiance's greetings. Fiance realized after handing over packet to officer that the Medical/Xray cd that was not enclosed in the packet was still in his bag. Stated to officer "Sorry, I forgot to hand you this with the packet" and he handed it over, and officer responded, "Don't speak to me." Other than that, no issues. |
