We decided to take a short trip to hawaii before starting our new life in Texas. we arrived in Honolulu and went to start the immigration and there was a couple before us and the Asian lady asked the IO how long this will take because they had a connecting flight and the IO said they shouldn't have booked it so close to their IO. Then said to them that they are on her bad side...so I then started to get nervous...but once they finished the IO called me and she was laughing and was as nice as pie... My arriving at Honolulu until the time I walked out to get into a cab was around 1 hour. It was such a great experience. |

Very slow - went through first immigration desk, then got sent to "tripod" area and had to wait at least 1.5 hours, but staff were professional and straightforward. No issues or additional questions. |

Received a warm welcome. Asked to wait for other passengers to get through POE first. After handing over my documents and providing address for green card to be send I was wished well. It didn't take more than 30 minutes. |

It was okay I guess. The Security Officer, who I know is also a Filipino, has uncalled for comments regarding finding your soul mate online. He didn't say it directly to us though but he said it too loudly to his fellow officer. And he does cut off my fiance whenever he talks but all that aside, I guess it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. And after a few weeks we realized that officer didn't close my file because my I-94 is not found online and we had to go to the Kansas City Airport for them to give it to me due to that officer's mistake. |

Pretty simple and straight forward. They just fingerprinted the first four finger of the right hand to verify identity I guess. But simple enough. Was out of the airport a hour and half after landing. ORD was very busy when I landed so most of my time went standing in line. |

My husband received a CR-1 visa because his interview was before our two years anniversary. When we got to LAX, it was after our two years so we showed them our marriage certificate and the officer stamped IR-1 in his passport. |
