Diana & Sergio JFK 2009-02-01 Yes,Passport Stamp No - High my mother accompanied my fiance through all the security because my fiance did not speak any English, they were even asking my mother questions, they didn't want my mother to help my fiance but there was no one in JFK staff that spoke SPANISH. 2010-01-03
Margarita & Omar JFK 2009-06-06 Yes,Passport Stamp Yes - High The process only took 10 minutes at most. I came into the country with my wife and therefore went directly to the US Citizen line at JFK. The officer stamped my passport, then opened the package they gave us at the embassy, look briefly at the documents and just asked me one question. Then he went ahead and stamped her passport and directed us to the office where we waited 2 minutes and my wife had to sign and get her finger print. The whole process was great! 2009-06-08

Kate & Scott JFK 2008-10-05 Yes,Passport Stamp Yes - High She was a very stern lady... she didnt say one thing to me, and then read EVERY paper in my secret manila envelope. She began to do some stamping, and I said "Do you have the employment authorization stamp?". She didnt even look up at me, and sarcastically said "can you just let me finish doing this... we know what we are doing". oops! haha. She then grumpily walked me to an office, gave my papers to a man standing up on a really high desk, and then he stamped my I94 and asked me when the wedding date.... very smooth. 2012-04-25
Ibrahima & Jennifer JFK 2009-01-22 Yes,Passport Stamp Yes - High At first things happened as I would expect. The interviewing officer, a young woman, asked my fiance how he met me, where I work, and then asked him to put his suitcase on the table. She completely emptied the contents and then examined a copy of the I129F form I submitted to USCIS. After she read it, she then turned to the woman she was working with and said to her, "This woman is 12 years older than this man, that is crazy." My fiance said to me, "That woman was scary and she look at me like I am DIRTY." I can understand why the officers need to ask questions of the foreigners, but her personal biased commentary about our relationship being "crazy" is unacceptable, unprofessional, and quite frankly none of her business. These are the first Americans visitors see, and I am not only mad, I am embarrassed as well. I have lodged an official complaint with US CBP. I have since received an apology letter from US CBP, a personal apology from the director at JFK, and was advised that the officer was placed under disciplinary review. There is justice! 2009-08-03
