The immigration officer who finally saw me seemed friendly. My fiance at the time said that he was told on a previous trip that we could be together in the USA line when J gets here, which only had 3 people in it. We got in that line, and were told quite rudely by a lady immigration officer that "all people with packets go to the end of the other line (about 100 people deep)," as if she didn't want to work with us. She later ended up helping others in the non-USA line; however that was a bad experience. However, our Immigration Officer that we finally got to after like an hour was courteous and friendly. The room I had to go to after that was quick and efficient, and the officers there were friendly, too. |

Waiting in line took longer than actually going through immigration. I pretty much ran out of the plane to make sure I got to the CBP booths before the bulk of the passengers, then waited for a good half hour. The guy I got was professional and friendly, looked at my passport and paperwork for all of 2 minutes, then sent me to secondary, which took all of another 2 minutes, and then I was on my way. |
