Took us downstairs, was expecting to be questioned, nope, had us wait with a big family who also just got here. After 15 mins or so received stamp and told to get luggage and leave. |

After a long wait in the visitor's line, I finally got to the officer. He was very nice to me, and asked me some questions like "What's your future husband's name?" "How old is he?" "how did you guys meet?" "How many times have you visit him or he visit you? You have met him only once, or many times?" -Very simple questions and similar to the questions that the embassy consular officer asked me at the interview. I think it only took a few minutes for him to proceed, and he told me that I have 90 days to get married. He even made a joke and said "Well, if you don't want to marry him, you can do that, too." We laughed, and he greeted me, "Good luck! Welcome to the United States:)" |
