Wife and son finally made it home Thursday May 12th. Flight landed at 8:30 PM but she did not clear Immigration until midnight. The first two agent she dealt with in immigration were a$$holes, she was pi$$ed at them. Both were Filipino and they were talking crap about her in Tagalog, they had no idea that she understands Tagalog, she learned quite a bit when she stayed with me in the Philippines when I worked there.
Long story short, she approached another Immigration Officer and he was very accommodating. When she was leaving the immigration office at LAX, she made a comment to the two Filipino Immigration Officers in Tagalog, they were horrified she could speak Tagalog. Wished I could have seen their faces!! My wife don't take sh!t from anyone, makes me proud!!
We should receive her 10 year Green card soon as well as her Social Security card. |
