Darren & Kathy Los Angeles 2005-04-13 No Yes - High Wish I had know you could get an EAD at the POE. I would have asked to get one. 2008-03-31

Hong Min & Lee Los Angeles 2005-10-05 No Yes - High Supervisor came over when he saw the packet, had a newbie working the desk. Discovered that GZ didn't include Affidavit of Support. :) 2008-10-20

Aquach Lu & Alan Los Angeles 2005-11-30 No No - High 2006-05-25
kim & james Los Angeles 2005-09-19 No Yes - High Officer seemed a bit annoyed with the people in front of me.. there was a problem with his passport then my turn.. because I had everything he needed and he opened the packet there.. instead of going somewhere else, everything went well and I was told welcome to America. 2007-07-17
Theresa & Sundy Los Angeles 2005-07-12 No No - High No problems encountered at POE. 2009-08-26
Johnny & Lisa Los Angeles 2005-12-27 No Yes - High No problem getting through POE at LAX; Johnny was quickly identified as a K-1, apparently due the sealed envelope he was carrying with the medical exam info. The immigration official who approved entry told him that he is lucky because his wife "makes a lot of money" -- ha ha. So it seems he took a good look at the Affidavit of Support! 2006-08-10
Cameron & Ronni Los Angeles 2005-09-10 No Yes - High The officer must have been new to the job and needed assistance from a colleague. He asked questions such as "Is your fiancée Australian as well?" and "How long do you intend to stay in the US?". Clearly not briefed on what a K1 actually entails. The other officer seemed to know what is to happen and told the other what to fill out etc. I was issued an A number, which will be my green card no. when I receive it. He forgot to write this no. in my passport and followed me to baggage claim to do so. Not what I expected from a US Immigration Officer. 2009-10-23
