Port of entry through miami was kinda freaking me out for other friends experience.. Now for me it was pretty different... it took me only 5 minutes to get my papers processed! the guy who processed my case was kind of rude and asked a bunch of questions but whatever I am happy it was quick!.. make sure you have your brown envelope in hand before going to the official and also try to schedule your flight in a not busy day since miami airport is usually pretty busy!.. i arrived in miami on a monday at 10 30 pm.. and I think it wasnt so busy.. anyway good luck to everyone else |

My fiance said that the process was very smooth. The officer opened her package and informed her if she understood that she had to be married within 90 days or she had to leave. She said that she understood, and he told her welcome to America. |

The officer was extremely nice and courteous. He asked about my F-1 visa and why I got my own after being on my mom's as an F-2. He also hinted to me that I am allowed admittance of less than one month prior to my school's start date (I entered at exactly one month and he said that that was not necessarily allowed but he let me in) thank God! He was completely honest and understanding. |
