Phillicm Paola & Chris Miami 2008-07-31 No Yes - High I had opened the package from the embassy that apparently is supposed to stay closed until you reach the US border. No one at the US embassy in Bolivia let me know that little fact and as a result I spent 4-5 hours getting things straightened out and missed my flight. Some of the workers were nice, others not so much. 2016-10-04

Patricia & Orestes Miami 2008-08-30 No No - High We arrived in Miami on Saturday, 2008-08-30, and the process of my fianceé visa was horrible. The agent who review the visa first was very nice; however, after he told us to sit down at another room, the whole process was down the hill. I think we stayed there for almost an hour, and in this first room, nobody was processing the K-1 visa. One had to wait for another agent to come by to pick up the visa package. I don't know why the two women sitting there could not communicate to the processing center (yet another room) that there were visas awaiting for processing in the initial room. I am cuban-american, and the women agents (no doubt two cubans) could not do a thing to process the visas quickly. Then, when another agent finally came for the VISAS (there were TWO), we went to a processing center room where we spent more than 4 hours. I don't know if this delay was because it was a Saturday, but I give TWO THUMB DOWN to Miami immigration services. I have a K-2 VISA pending, and this other person will have to come though Miami. This time, he will come during a week day to see if there is an improvement. I will let you know. Notice that all in all it took more than 5 HOURS to have the visa processed!!! 2011-02-22
