Long wait - other immigrants did not have papers in order at secondary inspection. So we had to wait for their mess to get squared away. Missed connecting flight, spent the night in Miami. |

We entered Miami following a holiday in the Bahamas. Apparently INS has an office in the Nassau airport and they gave us grief that we didn\\\\\\\'t go thru INS there. Then the agent realized we had spent 5 days on vacation so Nassau was not really our POE. Took about an hour. They thought I worked for immigration because I knew all the terms! (Thanks Visajourney!) |

She got through Immigration and customs in about 10 minutes! So fast that I wasn't even expecting to see her so soon (I estimated minimum of one hour and up to three hours!) |
