Yes I can surely say life has been great to us! My wife and our 6yr old daughter are adjusting to life here in the States excellently. My wife and I also just had a beautiful baby girl in July. Both mommy and baby are doing great! That makes three cool women in my company!!! Furthermore, Baby Emily is growing so big already and talking me to endlessly! Hahah! And our daughter Emma is also doing great in school (1st grade!...). She is getting all S+ (the equivalent of all A+'s}. Emma's teacher can't stop saying nice things about her; and what a leader Emma is, both in and outside the classroom. We thank God for all the blessings and couldn't have been happier! Hope to update you soon!
Quick update:
Our second daughter, Emily, turns three this month. She's my best friend and our bond is so great! Emily is an exercise 'buff'! She loves to exercise and loves good food. Emma has consistently achieved all A+'s in school and will be in the fourth grade next school year. She also loves to exercise, good food and loves competing to be 'first' in my affection line. More importantly, my wife loves it here - she is back in school getting her Masters in Social Work. We have applied for citizenship for her and is in line for interview. Exactly the American Dream she waited eight (8) years for! Thus far the Lord has brought us. And to God be the glory!!!

Very quick process at IAD Airport. Asked for the yellow packet and stamped on my passport. Took less than 2 minutes |

The queue moved very first, when it was my turn; the immigration officer took my passport, looked at the visa and asked for the package. I gave it to him and he asked when we will have our wedding. Next, my right hand finger prints were taken (biometric). He stamped my passport, inserted a piece of paper in one of the pages and handed it to me. He welcomed me and i left...was there for 7minutes. Very smooth and kind staff. |
