When I got to the border I was ask if I was migrating I said yes. I was taken to a room the officer give another officer my package. I sat in the room for about 5 min while he type up something. When he finish he ask me if I know my rights and I can go look a job, go to school after I receive my SS and green card and he mention that this can take between 3-12mths but if I need to travel I can use my visa its valid for a yr and if I need further info go to USCIS |

Fast process - was ushered into a room behind the normal border security booths, and after about a 5 minute wait I was asked two or three questions and had my visa in my passport stamped, allowing me to enter as a permanent resident. |
