Took train across border at Cantic as I had an North American Amtrak Pass while on holiday. Typical border shakedown, same as any crossing. |

Crossed by car 1500 miles from Salt Lake City. CBP Officer asked why my fiance wasn't with me. I answered (puzzledly) "Because she's in Salt Lake City...?". He snapped "What does that mean to me!?". Took about an hour and a half for him to go through the whole file. |

Entered at the Peace Bridge.
Pretty simple and straightforward! The officer processing the visa was extremely nice and helpful. The only questions he asked are: if we we're married, if I had any previous arrests, and if the address on the I-129F was still the address I was moving to. |

POE was at Ottawa International Airport. Everyone was very polite and professional. We went through early on a Sunday morning, so it was not crowded and the whole process took about 15 - 20 minutes. |
