They didn't ask her one question. The only stressful issue was when they opened the brown envelope she was looking over the counter and they asked her to step back (the officer was training another officer). turns out because of her previous TB and scar on her lung, she has to have a physical at a local doctor specified by the USCIS. which puts a damper on our honeymoon plans |

The POE Chicago was smooth. I already filled the I-94 and Customs form in flight itself. Then I submitted I-94 to the Immigration guy at Chicago. I was asked only one question "Why am I here in US?" to which I replied that I am on K1. Then he opened the documents did some checking. Then took my finger prints and said "thanks. You are done".

We entered the US through Chicago POE.
The officer didn't ask much, but since i was with my fiance he did speak with him a lil' bit too. But no big deal. Everything went smooth and after taking my picture, fingerprints and the yellow envelope from the embassy he smiled and said "congratulations" and that was about it.
Good luck, guys! |
