He noticed I was born in Bangkok, and joked that I found myself a "hometown" girl, asked how long we'd been together. Then he says that he goes to Thailand often also on vacation. It made Su feel very at ease. He then explained to Su that if I ever caused harm to her (domestic violence) that she should call the police, and she would be okay as far as her green card is concerned. He told me that he's obligated to explain this to all K1's entering the country. Next he pointed us to the secondary inspection area where we waited for about 30 minutes while they did who knows what. Another officer called us, and explained we had 90 days to marry or she can go back home. Very simple and easy entry. The first officer was very nice and friendly, the second unfriendly but efficient and direct.	2013-10-24
