We finally got the visas on Friday, December 20. Took a taxi across the border and he waited for us on the other side. Getting through the POE took several hours. Went to the airport in El Paso and flights were crazy expensive. Rented a car and drove it from El Paso back to Milwaukee. Got stranded in a huge snowstorm. So much fun. Stayed in a motel in northern Texas Friday night and a hotel in Topeka, Kansas Saturday night. Arrived back in Milwaukee Sunday evening. |
