When we arrived at the airport the line for passport control was longer on the Resident/Citizen side, I was elated because we thought that we were going to be processed sooner, boy was I wrong. I took us literally about 1 1/2 hours for us to be sent to the interview room. The funny part is that we only took less than 5 for my wife to be taken her fingerprint and sign a few papers. Our journey has ended, thank god! |

Went very fast, no longer than 5min, didn't check any of the medical, x-ray, etc. Social Security card received 2 weeks later and green card after 1 month. |

There was one person attending all the visitors so the line was lone. When it was my fiance's turn, they saw his unopened package and ask him to go to a separate room to wait. He said there were many people there looking scared and strange. He waited 2 hours, almost fell asleep, until an officer woke him up for his package, they tossed it with other packages, stamped his passport and let him go. So it was more annoying to wait 2 hours for a 5 minutes review than it was harassment. Good thing we decided to go with a 6 hour layover! |
