Yulee & David Houston 2006-02-01 No No - High People at POE were friendly and efficient. They remembered us from when I called regarding the Temp EAD while I was still in Singapore.. the Chief Immigration officer actually came out to the processing area and apologized, saying that she had made an error and advised us incorrectly. She told us that it was revised USCIS policy to NOT issue temp EAD at POE any more, and even showed us the regulation. She said she didn't know on what authority JFK was doing it, but she sincerely wished she could for us (and I think she really sincerely wanted to help us). Oh well, we tried hard, and we didn't get the temp EAD, but at least we are here, together, married, and very happy. 2006-10-22

Deysi & Jimmy Houston 2005-12-25 No No - High According to Deysi the Officer who interviewed her spoke no Spanish and indicated they had no one there who did that day. Maybe because it was Christmas Day , but seems like in Houston TX there would be someone in that capacty at all times. 2012-02-25

Guera30 Jose & Rebecca Houston 2006-08-17 No - High My fiance speaks Spanish only. He was taken aside for an "interview" with an English-speaking official. This official spoke to him, appeared to get upset & then drew a line through my fiance's visa. He had thought that there was a date problem with the K1 visa that my fiance has (there was not). The official then realized his mistake, re-wrote over an incorrect date that the official had already wrriten (scratching out the old one) in my fiance's passport & said he could go. Now, there is a slashed line through the visa & a scribbled out date near the POE stamp. Somehow, I don't think this is what it is supposed to look like. 2010-11-05
