We left Toronto and POE was Buffalo NY. We had a cat left in the car so they were pretty kind to us. Had two cars to import, but had all the paperwork so maybe 45 minutes to complete everything. |

The first customs officer took my files, read stuff on screen for a while, asked me if I've ever overstayed, then took my fingerprints, but just one side, before sending me to secondary inspection. Second officer gave me I-94 to fill out, while he inspected the contents of my package, he only asked me to confirm my fiance's name, didn't ask anything else. He filled in the remaining information on the I-94 (e.g. passport expiration date, since he was holding on to my passport), stapled the departure card into my passport and let me through. He held on to the package. |

No harassment, but my wife said they were very slow. People were sitting and waiting to be cleared and the officers just kind of ignored them for awhile. They spent a lot of time just chit-chatting with each other before finally helping people who were waiting. The officer also almost forgot to take her finger print. |
