Trina & Bhupi Bhupi & Trina JFK 2013-10-26 No Yes - High The POE process was pretty easy at JFK. It took about 2 hours but, only because the officer went on break halfway through Bhupi's processing. They asked very few questions mostly basic: Bhupi's parents names, whether or not he was married, and where he was coming from. Do not be alarmed if you are waiting for your fiance for a long time at the airport - the K1 visas are processed differently than tourist visas, etc so, they tend to take longer. Overall, it was a very easy experience. 2014-05-14
