Took about 30 minutes, mostly waiting in a waiting room, quick interview with fingerprints, photo, and the officer typing details into the computer, otherwise simple, quick and pleasant. |

We were supposed to have Detroit as a POE but since we missed our connecting flights due to fog at Samara airport we had to get another set of flights to the US. The only ones they had were through JFK. All in all though a good experience and it took about 45 minutes. I took her through the US Citizens line with me. They had NO questions for her but did tell her she had 90 days on her visa. That's it!:) They returned her passport and we were on our way. Welcome to the USA!:)) |

We got soooo lucky! The man that checked us in happened to be from the same city as me in Florida...which is a small town, so quite a coincidence. So we talked about the town we're from and the college he went to...and that he played basketball for them. Then he walked us to a woman sitting at a table and she took all of 1 minute to finish his paperwork. Took us about 15 minutes to get through! Yay! |
