Threats of detention even with a tourist visa. Held until lawyer contacted USCIS, released thereafter. Questioned at length (both of us). |

No issues at Houston IAH airport. No questions asked. Only took the package and had to sign two documents. |

Long wait as he was behind an immigrant and officer had to call interpreter. Seemed to be not enough officers to deal with all the arrivals |

The guys who actually processed me in the office were perfectly nice and joking around. The man who checked my passport as I actually entered was the grumpiest human being I've encountered in my life. He got a few yells in at the hubby for leaning on the counter and what not. But the rest of them made up for the experience.
From the original passport person it took about 45 minutes. All in all not a bad experience. Quite a few parole violations waiting in line with me in there and a couple of more immigrants. Be prepared to wait a little but perfectly friendly boys. |

It was quick for her. But at 4:30 PM Qatar and Emirates both lands and apparently there was a lot of people on K1 and IR1/CR1 visa, so, took her a little over 3 hours in total to get out |
