Haleakala Lingli & Anthony Honolulu 2012-05-15 No Yes - High The customs officer gave my fiance a hard time at the Honolulu POE. He asked her about our mailing address and she did not know. Are you expected to specifically know the mailing address? 2012-11-20
Rassel & Mark Honolulu 2012-11-26 Yes,Passport Stamp Yes - High The POE processing was very easy. We had the great fortune to have a Fil/Am CBP officer manning the booth that we walked up to. Some friendly conversation and then he turned us over to a more 'serious' officer who fingerprinted, id'd her and etc. We received the explanation about her responsibilities and rights and then off we went. She and I were surprised on how simple it was! She was a bit nervous . . . and so was I - but everything went very smooth. 2016-10-25
Regine & Merkin Honolulu 2012-03-10 - High The CBP Officer was really nice and told his computer to be fast... he said " Come on .. hurry, this lady's fiance is waiting outside :) 2017-02-24
BRLaEngineer Haidee & Clifton Honolulu 2012-05-17 No Yes - High There were quite a few Filipinos on the flight from Manila to Hawaii, but only 1 or 2 other K1 visa girls. Waited for about an hour, but actual time at the counter was only about 20 minutes. He went through all the documents in the folder, asked about support again, and told me that I had 90 days to get married. I asked about the EAD stamp, and he said I had to file for the EAD card at adjustement of status. :( Overall, very easy with no harassment, just a lot of waiting. Out of the airport about an hour-and-a-half after the flight landed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Honolulu as your POE! 2017-03-02
