Port of entry at Dallas fort Worth International Airport was quick and smooth. Just asked basic questions.
Once I got to the counter I was asked a couple basic questions, fingerprinted, then taken to an office off to the side where he sat and waited there 30 min along with 4 other people.
When my name was called I was again asked a few questions.Like ever I got deported from any other country or ever I've got arrested in my life etc.Obviously, my answer was NO.Then the immigration officer put stamp seal on my passport and said welcome to America.I was granted to access and sent to the baggage area.
Beside of this, POE in Dallas Immigration area is very well organized and there are separate booths for different Visa types (Tourists, Immigrants are separate booth ). This makes things so much easier and quicker for everyone. |

The POE was at Dallas airport and was pretty easy and smooth, took only one hour all together. The Immigration officer took me to a near by room and took my bio-metrics and stamped my passport. i have been told that my green card will reach me in 4 weeks time. |

Flight went smoothly he was suppose to be on economic class but for some reason they put him on business class with a good service :) this was first time ever he got this kind of service lol, but he was late for his connecting flight to minneapolis. It took him one and a half hour to wait in the line and when it's his turn they sent him to a room and took his fingerprint took that big envelope and stamp on the I-9 and passport and remind him to get marry within 90 days. |

It was a very busy day when I arrived. Waited nearly 3 hours for someone to spend 10 minutes looking at my paperwork and stamp my passport but all in all it was a smooth and painless experience. Still made my connecting flight on time and just happy to finally be with my sweetheart. |

The wait for the first immigration screening was about 30 minutes. The officer asked me if I was sure that I wanted to get married and how we met. I was taken to the secondary screening and waited about 40 minutes for my turn. The officer was very nice and asked if I knew what to do. He explained what I need to do if I go back to my homeland before getting married. And that was it--completely painless and no harassment whatsoever. |
