My fiance had to fly to Chicago O'Hare which was the only US airport open to international travel at the beginning of COVID. His flights to NYC were cancelled 2x before that.
Customs was quick and easy. Officer was friendly and just asked two questions:
1. What is your fiancé’s name?
2. When did you get your police clearance?
He took the packet and said Welcome to the USA! |

Give yourself PLENTY of time if POE is a stop for connecting flight.
I queued up like everyone in non US citizen in line then was taken to tripod area. LONG wait in tripod area but other than that it was simple and easy.
They asked me to confirm my info and my father's name. |
