My entry at Chicago was totally straightforward, quick and easy. I handed over my passport and the sealed white envelope with my documents. Fingerprints from one hand were taken, then a photo. The woman then asked me a couple of simple questions about my fiancée, things like how long have we known eachother. I told her that she'd moved house after my visa interview, so she went and got a form and asked me to write the new address on it. She said it was just to ensure everything gets sent to the new address. Then that was it. I got through customs right away and re-checked my bag. Then getting through airport security was pretty quick, even though there was quite a long queue. I couldn't have hoped for better. |

My wife waited to be called up for a long time, due to the number of people there at the time. She was called, gave her paperwork, they fingerprinted her, and she was on her way. It was quite fast. |
